Main Hall
Our main hall is 20.1m long (excluding the stage) by 10.4m wide and able to seat approximately 130 people. Standing capacity is around 200 people. We have rectangular and circular tables along with chairs for your use.
The hall is equipped with a stage, a bar and access to the kitchen via a serving area.
Patio doors with disabled access lead to the field and play park area.
Parking
We have a large private car park which is available with the hall hire.
The Stage
Our stage is 5.5m wide and 2.1m deep and can be extended by the use of 8 staging blocks in various combinations to suit your needs.
Committee/Meeting Room
Suitable for small meeting, study groups or classes seating around 15 people. Overall size of room is approximately 6.3m x 4.6m with access to the kitchen and bar (via serving hatch). Upholstered chairs and varying sized tables available for your use.
Kitchen
Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel work area and large range style cooker and catering size microwave. Access to the Main Hall is provided by a large serving hatch and to the Committee Room via a door.
A hot water urn is available, as well as a floor standing refrigerator and separate freezer. A standard dishwasher is also available for use.
The kitchen is fully stocked with matching plates in two sizes, bowls, cups and saucers. Cutlery and tea pots are also provided.
Bar
Adjacent to the kitchen and with a service hatch to the Main Hall and the Committee Room, our bar area is available for all events, with the exception of children’s parties. If you are planning to serve alcohol at your event you will need a premises license, this must be agreed at the time of booking as the Village Hall is only permitted a limited number of licenses in each calendar year.
The bar includes two fridges and is well stocked with pint, half pint, wine, sherry and champagne glasses.
Patio / Outdoor Barbecue Area
The west facing side of the Village Hall has a sunny patio area with benches – this is a great spot for a barbecue or hog roast.
Play Park
Within close distance of the hall and patio area, we have an enclosed play area suitable for smaller children. Also on the field, we have a basketball/multisport court, Zip wire and tree house with climbing frame. Please ensure you supervise your children at all times when using the play park facilities.
Outdoor Gym
In 2017 we secured grant funding for 6 pieces of outdoor gym equipment suitable for anyone over the age of 10. Whilst the equipment caters for all abilities please check with your doctor if you have any condition that might be affected by exercise.
