Edingale is pleased to present our first ever combined Open Gardens & Scarecrow Festival this summer.  On both days, villagers will welcome you on a tour of the village, searching for scarecrows and enjoying beautiful gardens, with plant sales, ice cream and book stalls.  English cream teas will be on sale in the tranquil garden setting of the Old Vicarage and ploughman’s lunches at our ancient Church Farm.  There are many other attractions including a history garden (focussing on local history); a flower and gardens festival at the church; and the Church Walk model railway.  

We have two fun-packed days in store for you.

• On Saturday in addition to open gardens and scarecrows, the Village Green arena has a host of live music acts from talented local artists, a bar serving cask ales, cider and wines, fairground rides and a host of entertainment for the children.

• On Sunday alongside the great open gardens and scarecrows, there will be a focus on gardening and the great outdoors which includes workshops for children. We have a visit from celebrity gardener David Domoney of ITV’s Love your garden who will speak on his life in gardens and judge a garden-themed competition for local children displayed in the church.  Net proceeds from both days go to local good causes.
